Norman Finkelstein Proposes Massive 5,000 People Demonstration to End Israel’s Siege on Gaza!
This is recent interview with Prof. Norman Finkelstein outlining plans for a demonstration involving 5,000 internationals and 500,000 Palestinians marching on an Israeli checkpoint to impose International Law.
Prof. Finkelstein suggests that honorary grand marshals for the event could be people like Nelson Mandela, Jimmy Carter, and Noam Chomsky.

As usual, PC Roberts says it on the line, and calls it the way it is! Spades are spades!
It makes one wonder when dormant America will wake up and stir itself from this stupor in which it sinks ever farther each day.

I am extremely appalled and ashamed of Obama's and my two senators support to more troops in Afghanistan.
My apologies to the people of Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, and Palestine that the American people who advocate non-violence and peace have failed to be heard. We will not give up! We are protesting today against this stupid decision that continues harm of human life/environment.Where ever you are, stand with us please!

How the Israel Lobby Took Control of U.S. Foreign Policy
Any criticism against Israel's bullying of the Palestinians, or any other legitimate inquiry concerning its aggresive behaviors toward its neighbors, is ignored by our local newspaper.
I have written letters expressing my feelings about Israel's policies as well as pointing out that "as our closest ally" I can find no statistical evidence that Israel has supported us with manpower (fighting men and women) in our war with Iraq or Afghanistan.
If Israel decides, on her own, to attack Iraq I wonder whether the US will be asked to furnish young lives to clean up after them (if it doesn't bring on WWIII).

“Netanyahu’s Prayer”
Former Mossad informer and currently French president, Nicolas Sarkozi, shortly after meeting with Zionist entity’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu (Bibi) in Paris – has urged PA president Mahmoud abbas on Thursday, to restart stalled peace negotiations with Israel (reported by Israeli daily Ha’aretz, November 12, 2009).
Abu Mazen (Mahmoud Abbas) the head of the USrael occupied West Bank administration announced on October 24, 2009 that he will hold both parliamentary and presidential elections in the West Bank, Gazzah and East Jerusalem on January 24, 2010. However, later on he threatened his bosses in Washington and Tel aviv that he would not run for the PA president in the coming election. Both Israeli president Shimon Peres and US Scretary of State Hillary Clinton called him to change his mind – reminding him that without him, Israel will loose the “negotiating partner” as none of them want to ‘negotiate’ with the democratically elected government of Hamas.
Professor Galia Golan (IDC College in Herzliya) said: “It’s not really looking good right now. You’ve got a very right-wing Israeli government, a weak Palestinian leadership, and a US administration not willing to do anything decisive.” Professor Golan is the founder of Peace Now movement in Israel. “I hope Obama would do more to pressure Israel to freeze settlement expansion in the West Bank and East Jerusalem and to release prisoners as a way of strengthening Abbas. Instead, Obama “waffled” and bached down from his original demands,” she said.
Palestinian chief negotiator, Saeb Erekat said that if Abbas does step down, the entire Palestinian Authority (PA) could collapse. The PA has no political or military clout. Zionist regime is using PA to finance and run schools, hospitals and sanitary department in the West Bank on its behalf. This saves Tel aviv millions of dollars each year which is now provided by the US and EU.
Former Mossad agent and currently editor of Bittermelon.org website, Jossi Alpher, said: “The American still don’t get this. The administration somehow thainks that if it can get the talks started (without Hamas), they will succeed….”
Some Palestinian officials believe Abbas will still change his mind about resigning (his current term expired in January 2009) as he has several times in the past. If not, they worry there could be chaos among Palestinians (instigated by Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan on behalf of USrael).
“This is hardly the first time the Palestinians have been outfoxed by Israel in Washington. Yet, they still don’t get it. They still don’t understand that in an era of Arab disarray and impotence, and particularly when confronted by a less than coherent new American policy departure, their smartest strategists should be traveling to Washington, not (with all due respect) to Cairo, Amman and Riyadh.
The real lesson of the settlement freeze fiasco concerns who understands Washington better, Netanyahu or Abu Mazen,” wrote Yossi Alpher on November 11, 2009.
The Israelis and Americans have made it clear they prefer the Palestinians to remain divided, and Hamas and Gazzah isolated, in the belief that Abbas will be able to deliver a “peaceful settlement” on their terms on the basis of political support in the West Bank. While Palestinians have been demanding a settlement between Hamas and Fatah, the US and Israel clearly hope that election ins in the West Bank in January 2010, without any polls in Gazzah, would consolidate the division and Fatah’s rule over the West Bank and so make an agreement with Israel more feasible.
After watching how much Fatah’s leadership is beholden to outside forces, specifically Israel, the US, and the ZOGs in the EU – that the interests of the Palestinians are no longer their prime concern.

Encouraging Rhetoric”
All Western-nation "civilized" societies should read this spirited cri de coeur by a great Palestinian Christian lady.
As Ms. Khoury and I agreed in an E-mail exchange today, Zionist Israel has in fact "graduated" -- from spoilt child to teenage sadistic bully on the block to adulthood full murderous psychosis...a collective serial killer non pareil.
I condemn my America for enabling the psychotic, and I mourn my own taxpaying complicity and general lack of will and way to make a difference.

ARE HATE CRIME LAWS LEGALIZING TREASON?
If the new "Hate Crimes Laws" do not actually legalize treason there is little doubt that they will be used to protect those who commit treason, such as has happened in the past, the recent past, and continues today as a matter of course and a way of business in our Nation's Capitol where legislators and "representatives of the people" have sold out to the lobby's of foreign interests at the expense of US interests.
Take a look at where these people campaign. How many constituents actually live in Tel Aviv? How many constituents live in Tel Aviv? Take a look at the campaign funding? Where does the greatest part of it all come from? For both parties?
Wake up, America! You are being screwed over in your sleep, and now you have lost the right to even discuss it and identify the culprits.

Mr. Gates' commentary is incredibly right on, comprehensive, and essential. Deliberate or unknowing complicity with Zionist Israel's and its US domestic agents' evil designs is TREASON and must be outed as such.
I have my own "diagnosis" of the world's myriad and deepening problems: a diagnosis I've been espousing for at least six months and which I'd like important voices like Mr. Gates' to consider and give momentum to. My "diagnosis" was brought squarely to my mind again this morning: a wonderfully mature and astute Palestinian lady referred to ZioIsrael as a "spoilt child." I go much further than that: this spoilt child has progressively become the teenage bully on the block, and it is now mired in adult COLLECTIVE, FULL PSYCHOSIS.
Until we recognize this sickness in all its manifestations and implications, I see no release from the present danger we (stout resisters of Zionist ideology) face. This collective psychosis must first be charged, then confronted, then assessed, then treated, then (one hopes) brought to remission.
I ask that the influential Jeff Gateses of the stout-resisters-of-Zionist-ideology camp bring awareness of this COLLECTIVE PSYCHOSIS, so often and increasingly driven into war crimes and crimes against humanity (Gaza, the entire OPT, Lebanon, Iraq, AfPak, soon Iran...) to full public disclosure. Quickly, please....

“IS IT ANTI-SEMITIC TO DEFEND PALESTINIAN HUMAN RIGHTS?”
I do believe some persons are wrongfully deliberate racists and they should be punished for it. Many persons are unintentionally racists and often they see the false racist act of others and become accomplices rather in the matter by not speaking out against it.
Some persecution in life is unavailable it seems. But nevertheless it is also true that if a person wants to have friend, they must work at it, they must show themselves friendly, and personal friendship costs some sacrifices too, friendship and respect are generally not automatic, they have to be earned it seems as well. But we must all have enforced human rights, the right to education, to live, to work, freedom to speak and to be heard, freedom of religion as well.

“The Israeli Occupation of America: How Israel Gained Control of American Foreign Policy and Public Opinion”
Great article. Going hand in hand with political occupation is economic and financial occupation via the House of Rothschild's financial dynasty that has been destroying the world for over 300 years. The countless pogroms throughout the ages are not without merit. An examination of the "Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion" is a good starting point to learn about Zionism.

Spotlight on Palestine: An interview with Stuart Littlewood
This is a spell-binding interview, eliciting admiration for the interviewer and interviewee alike...and frustration and hatred for the psychotic Zionists who rule their platform Israel and their lackey U.S. and U.K. governments with the cunning skill of the lunatic. The evil is wide and deep, not only in the illegally Occupied Palestinian Territories; it extends beyond the prime US and UK offenders to Canada, Australia, the European Union, and on.
The interview should be shopped far and wide, distributed to publications, political officials, church leaders, universities, etc. Alas, to do so would largely prove futile in this inverted "civilized" world. But persist we must: I don't want another Palestinian mother to lose a baby to lack of medical care; I don't want another Palestinian child to go to bed thirsty; I don't want another Palestinian man to lament and seethe over his inability to farm his lands or fish his ocean, feed his family, uphold his dignity; I don't want even one more "cut" in the "death by a thousand cuts" which ZioIsrael is sadistically, psychotically inflicting on the body of Palestinians in full view of the world.
As Mr. Littlefield intimates, the ziopsychosis is building as a psychosis is wont to do: will the next eruption strike Gaza (again), or Lebanon (again), or Iran?

Palestine and the Art of War”
Why do other countries not use the General Assembly's "Uniting for Peace" approach to to circumvent the US veto on behalf of Israel in the Security Council and take action in Palestine ?
A total embargo on Israel itself, and then on any countries that trade with Israel. No sacrifice of US troops on behalf of Israel needed just no trade with Israel.

Did you know ? In the USA, it's illegal to boycott Israel. See the following government website: http://www.bis.doc.gov/ complianc...tcompliance.htm
The law prohibits anyone in government from informing you of the ownership and organization of Israeli companies and products. How can you ensure that you are in compliance with this law if the Bureau of Commerce will not send you a list of which companies and products you deal with are Israeli, so that you can make sure you are in compliance?

“Baroness Tonge: “Israel stands accused of war crimes witnessed by the whole world”"
This is a blood-curdling video. As I watched it I felt my anger rising, and I heard myself say, "Bloody murderers". But what can I accomplish merely by feeling angry at the Israelis? Not much, really. Look at the reaction from the White House regarding the Gaza War: total indifference. And look at the reaction from the leaders of the EU. They have colluded with the USA in this tragedy.
They have abstained from voting regarding the UN Goldstone report on Gaza War at the UN General Assembly. They talk about freedom and democracy, but behind the scene they conspire with the USA to deprive the Palestinians even their basic rights. 1400 Palestinians, most of them civilians and more than a hundred toddlers were slaughtered.

President Obama’s opportunity to speak truth to power – Rahm Emanuel does it for him”
I agree, Mr. Alan Hart, with what you have written. I was distressed to read this article because I sensed that what you have written is close to the truth, and it also makes sense. The picture you have painted is not a pretty one.
The next time a war breaks out in the Middle East it might involve not just the Hamas and the Hezballah, but Syria and Iran also. This will be a big war, and should Israel decide to bring out its unacknowledged nuclear weapons and use them, it would result in a calamity from which that entire region might never recover. It turns out that President Obama is a stronger supporter of Israel than even George Bush was, and he might decide to go along with Israel’s use of its nuclear weapons just as he has decided to go along with Israel’s grand plan to cover the occupied West Bank with sprawling illegal settlements.
I am terribly disheartened about President Obama. It seems that he did not really mean to keep the promises he made before the elections, and neither did he mean what he said in the grand speech he delivered at the Cairo University in Egypt; he certainly is not what he appeared to be. Could it be that he has metamorphosed since occupying the Oval Office? He was given the Nobel Peace Prize based on what he said and promised. “On the other hand, it is also undeniable that the Palestinian people – Muslims and Christians – have suffered in pursuit of a homeland. For more than sixty years they have endured the pain of dislocation. Many wait in refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza, and neighboring lands for a life of peace and security that they have never been able to lead. They endure the daily humiliations – large and small – that come with occupation. So let there be no doubt: the situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable. America will not turn our backs on the legitimate Palestinian aspiration for dignity, opportunity, and a state of their own.” Grand words, indeed; but they are hollow, as hollow as the man himself.
President Obama promised that America will not turn its back on the legitimate Palestinian aspiration for dignity, opportunity, and a state of their own; but he certainly has turned his back. It is as if he had second thoughts about the Palestinians after he saw the Jewish lobby AIPAC camped in the White House basement.
I know that the Nobel Peace Committee would not withdraw the prize already given; but may I request them to announce, at the very least, its regrets?

IN JON WE TRUST
The very fact that any of this is being discussed is the ONLY intent behind the Daily Show. They have said, time and time again, if you are getting all of your news and opinions from their show, then you are NOT doing what it takes to be a well informed person.
It is a COMEDY show, and as a loyal follower I agree that Jon’s facts aren’t always straight when he’s interviewing (which is unscripted, I’ve been on the show… he shouldn’t have said Iran is building nukes as there is no evidence for that, but it’s his show and his opinion) but at least he IS giving voice to the people making an effort towards peace and understanding.
There is one thing that the Daily Show is totally against, and that’s an agenda. They see the comedy in this tragic world, and let us feel RELIEF at the ridiculous nature of social human interaction. Get your news from NPR, get your relief from the daily show!

No matter how honest or good a man Stewart is personally, he will always be a yeshiva (Hebrew school) kid, and IMO will always be an Israel-firster. His remarks on Iran have shown as much.
It's a shame because I do think that Stewart is a good man and his writing team should have all the facts but are choosing to distort them. I would venture to guess that a sizable number of them are American Jews too, so are reflexively paranoid.
The biggest shame will be when Israel launches a false flag operation, gets it blamed on Iran, and millions of American kids, including ones who worship Stewart, get drafted.

Considering that Jon Stewart is a New York Jew he does remarkably well, obviously there are biases and errors but I think he is a decent person who's abhorred by all violence and injustice. Can you imagine how much bull he has been exposed too?
Perhaps he should know better about the USA's involvement in the worlds problems, and probably does, but as pointed out - you won't see any of that on the prime-time, Arms company owned, mass-media.

“Goldstone and Gaza”
Thank you very much, President Jimmy Carter, for your caring and thoughtful words. Coming as they do from a Nobel Peace Laureate and a noble voice for peace, they do carry weight. I hope President Obama would read this article and take necessary action.
I have been wondering also since the arrival of fall here in New Jersey, and the nights have been getting colder by each passing day, how the destitute and ill-equipped people of Gaza will survive the bitter cold winter of Gaza. I shiver even in my sheltered home, and I wonder how will the Gazans survive in drafty, leaking tents that provide so little shelter? None of the houses bombed by Israel in Gaza has been rebuilt because of Israel’s embargo of building materials. I have not heard Obama talk about Israel’s embargo of even basic materials necessary for survival, and I now wonder whether your judicious words will fall on this new Nobel Peace Laureate’s deaf ears? From what I have observed, it seems to me that Obama’s ears are quite open to Netanyahu’s arrogant words, but they are shut to the cries of the Palestinians’ suffering children.
In an excellent article by a young journalist named Aditya Ganapathiraju, I came across a list of articles barred by Israel from entering Gaza: “Even today, the most basic commodities for life still continue to be barred by the Israeli government. Materials like wood for doors or cement for rebuilding in the aftermath of the destruction left by the last attack remained barred. No electrical appliances, like refrigerators or washing machines, and no parts for cars are allowed. Also restricted are “fabrics, threads, needles, candles, matches, mattresses, sheets, blankets, cutlery, crockery, cups, glasses, musical instruments, books, tea, coffee, sausages, semolina, chocolate, sesame seeds, nuts, milk products in large packages, most baking products, light bulbs, crayons, clothing and shoes. School supplies too, are blocked from entering. More than 100 trucks full of stationary are still awaiting clearance to enter Gaza. All of the 387 government-run and 33 private schools, which serve more than 250,000 students, lack essential supplies. Draconian restrictions on glass, wood, and other building materials, has kept the hundreds of schools damaged during the assault remaining in terrible condition. When an occupying army blocks tea, blankets, crayons, and school stationary from entering the “largest prison on Earth,” severely restricts essentials like fuel and medicine, makes travel in and out all but impossible, and exercises complete control over its borders, airspace, and seas, the pretense of “security” seems dubious at best, and suggests that turning Gazans into beggars and Gaza into a “depoliticized humanitarian catastrophe” is precisely the plan.”
I can not adequately express my sense of frustration, sadness, bewilderment and shock when I think of the profound silence and seeming indifference of the White House to the plight of the Gazans, and especially to the plight of Gaza’s children.
Thank you very much, President Jimmy Carter, for expressing your thoughts.
Declassified FBI File Alleges an Israeli Intelligence Agent Worked at AIPAC”
Dear Yesh Prabhu:
You are correct... there are a great many "President Obama should(s)...." which he ought to do.
But the first one is to fire or get rid of the two major spokesmen-spokeswoman who would succeed him in office if anything on toward happened which would prevent him from completing his full term in office, for the undercutting, undermining remarks and speeches they are making which could not be more destructive to his stated objectives and ambitions to bring peace to the Middle East and equity to the Palestinians.
Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, the two people in the administration who sit closest to him as his voices, and who should be his strongest supporters, are doing more damage to him, personally, and officially then they could if they were actually and openly working in the opposition, which seems to be their covert position.
He can fire the one, and request the resignation of the other. That would at least outline his stance in the ME and open the road for progress.
Earlaiman said that. Have a good a day as possible in New Jersey.
SETTLING FOR FAILURE IN THE MIDDLE EAST
I agree completely with what you have written. Your analysis makes a lot of sense.
In light of the recent developments in Ramallah and Jerusalem - President Mahmoud Abbas’ decision to not seek re-election - the prospects for implementing the “Two State Solution” seem more distant now than ever before. By permitting Secretary of State Clinton to praise Netanyahu effusively at their joint press conference in Jerusalem, her bewildering description of Netanyahu’s willingness to slow down, but not freeze, the settlement activities in the West Bank as “unprecedented”, President Obama has derailed the peace process in the glare of worldwide coverage.
President Obama’s actions until now do not tally with his words, declarations, proclamations, and grand speeches, especially the promise he made from Egypt to the Muslim world that he will be fair to the Palestinians in their struggle for an independent state. And it seems to me that President Obama has voluntarily put a leather collar around his neck and handed over the leash attached to it to the AIPAC.
But where there is will, there is a way, as they say. This is what I suggest that he should do: if he follows my suggestion, he will occupy a place on a pedestal next to the great American president Lincoln.
1. Address the nation on prime time TV that he will neither seek nor accept nomination for second term as President. This will immediately free him from the clutches of not only AIPAC and other Jewish lobbies, but from the clutches of all other special interest lobbies such as the Insurance, Healthcare, Banking, Farming, and Real Estate lobbies. I am aware that the Democratic congressmen and senators might not like such an act.
2. In his TV address he should behave as President Franklin D Roosevelt did in his famous fireside chats, look straight at the camera and tell the people, and announce to the world, “I am not seeking another term. But in the next three years, as president, I shall do only that which is right and just and moral.”
3. He can then address the UN General Assembly and describe his grand plan for the creation of Palestine.
What precisely is this grand plan? I have a proposal, a plan for the creation of Palestine that he could adopt as his own. The proposal is quite simple, really:
1. President Obama should declare that his administration recognizes Palestine bounded by the 1966 (pre-1967) border, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
2. President Obama should ask both the United Nations Security Council and the UN General Assembly to vote for the creation of Palestine and declare that the UN recognizes Palestine bounded by the 1966 border. The UN should ask all occupying foreign powers to vacate Palestine. The Israelis who wish to continue to live in Palestine must apply for permission from the Palestinian government to live there as immigrants. After five years the Israeli settlers could become eligible for Palestinian citizenship just as immigrants to the US become eligible for American citizenship after five years’ residency.
3. The UN should ask Israel to relocate the wall Israel has built encroaching Palestinian ancestral land to its internationally recognized borders (1966 or Pre-1967).
Presto!
Other nations from around the world can start recognizing Palestine, and send their ambassadors to East Jerusalem. Let the US be the first nation to recognize the free and independent Palestine.
I know that there are ten thousand and one suggestions and peace plans for the Middle East on the Internet from various organizations and columnists and politicians for resolving the Israel-Palestine conflict. I know also that the chance of President Obama’s reading about my “Peace Plan” is infinitesimally small. But who can predict? Lightning does strike occasionally, when least expected.
I hope that President Obama will succeed in his efforts to resolve the conflict. Peace in that region is desperately needed. King Abdullah of Jordan has predicted that if Israelis and Palestinians do not sign a peace treaty soon, a major war will erupt in the region in 12 to 18 months.
Am I dreaming? Perhaps; but what a wonderful dream it is!
If he adopts my proposals, Americans would rally behind him, and a stunned world, after recovering from the initial severe shock, will rally behind him also. I know that he has the potential in him to be the next Martin Luther King if only he listens to his conscience, and not to his Zionist political advisers he has hired. He should leave politics out the door.
Am I being too idealistic? Perhaps; but if I were President Obama, I would certainly do so.

“Israel Is Denying Palestinians Water “
Deliberately, as a national policy, depriving a population of precious water for the benefit of another (largely illegal) population is an unconscionable crime against humanity. If for no other reason, I hate Zionist Israel for this crime. I wrote these words to a Jerusalem Post columnist, Caroline Glick, several days ago. Alison Weir's contribution validates them:
"As just one isolated, but crucial, measure of present-day Zionism's vast psychotic criminality, I am pasting the url of a damning report by Amnesty International regarding the outrageous theft of water from the Palestinians. Any rational human being can only be revulsed by the evil exposed (in truth, re-exposed: this is hardly a phenomenon suddenly occurring in October 2009) by Amnesty.
I admit that I have a special antipathy to this particular arrogance in that I have spent extended periods of my life in water-deprived or -vulnerable locales. Thirst, especially thirst induced by the deliberate actions of one people against another, is most unpleasant, Ms. Glick. Woman, you and your fellow psychotics have no shame.

Gaza: The Forgotten Story
***************************Thank you very much, Aditya, for writing this superb article. I know it takes a great deal of time to write an article of this caliber. I wish more people would write such articles because there is a real need to tell the people around the world about this tragedy, and the suffering intentionally inflicted on a trapped and unarmed group of people. Most of the information I gathered about the Gaza war came from the excellent coverage of the war by the BBC and Aljazeera TV. The mainstream print media and TV stations here in the USA censored the carnage and the scenes of white phosphorus bombs falling down on the civilians.
The UN’s Goldstone report is of some help, but President Obama is determined to veto any resolution in the UN Security Council that might be critical of Israel. But the journalists must continue do their job. South Africa’s apartheid flourished for 46 years (1948 to 1994) before collapsing under the economic embargo. The end of Israel’s apartheid against the Palestinians is fast approaching also.
Sooner or later the tide will turn for the Palestinians. The “Boycott Israel” movement is gathering momentum around the world. I believe that no amount of negotiation and persuasion will end Israel’s occupation of Palestine; however, an economic embargo will.

This is really well written, and I look forward anxiously to subsequent part(s) of this series. I was particularly taken by Aditya Ganapathiraju's inclusion of these words: "...(Zionist Israel's plan of) turning the Palestinians trapped in there (into) 'beggars who have no political identity and therefore can have no political claims.'” Exactly right: this deliberate enterprise of crazed sadism tramples on the human rights, dignity, and cohesiveness of the Palestinians of Gaza (and beyond) in ways no one can possibly adequately imagine, much less express.
Zionism is full psychosis mode, an abomination to God and to mankind. May it be humbled and ended as a failed ideology, and may every vestige of it be cleansed from the Jewish people and the Holy Land. (Yes, the Zionist criminally psychotic regime of Israel must be erased from the pages of time. A secular, democratic, single state for all sane people of this small parcel of land, anyone?)

Jon Stewart Needs Letters of Support for having Dr. Barghouti and Anna Baltzer on “The Daily Show””
I worked for Jon Stewart Leibowitz's management company (the people who managed his career) in Tel Aviv on the Pacific, i.e., Hollywood.

It has long been acknowledged that "Bullshit baffles Brains"... and few of us have ever questioned it because it is so "apparently" so.
But, it is only "apparently" so because of that very fact, that few of us have ever questionsed it!
Let us prove that the old axiom, as useful as it is to explain "why?", is itself composed of 99% pure unadulterated, un-sweetened, all-natural, real, rich and direct from the healthiest of bulls, Bullshit!
Quantity is the key! Bullshit works only when it is lathered on over reason in excessive and order-of-magnitude qy uantities d sufficient to smothr, drown, and gag reason, fact and Truth!
The Zionist machine and its supporters throughout the world, and especially in the US, the ADL, AIPAC, and other parasitical groups, all organized and operating operating under the umbrella of Mossad and Israeli Information agencies, are ORGANIZED and when the red flag is waved the bullshit flows like a majestic river of shit, directly where it is aimed, until it overwhelms the offices and agancies against whom it is directed.
Let us show the world that reason and right can stand upagainst this tsunami of barnyard effluent and survive.
Write, call, email, telegraph, telephone, shout, spread the word, organize your family and friends, get the message to the proper folks as asked above, that "there are more of us who care about what is happening in the world than there are those who are destroying it, and we want to hear more from you in the same vein as we just heard, on the Jon Stewart show... more interviews and opinons of the Baltzer-Barghouti kind!
The power of influence in the public media industry is neither bullshit nor brains, it is BRAWN!
Get with it! All together now.... HEAVE!

Israel’s European Lobby”
******************Israel has built a house of cards on a foundation of sand when considering the Washington adage” If you want a friend in politics, you better get a dog.” Their illusion of peace and safety is of course first recognized as the Achilles heel of their hush money strength, so liberally spread about in their political necessities. The $1.9 trillion injection of government money by the U.S. has provided banking monies at zero cost but allow these banks to purchase government securities at 3% to 4% and without the normal risk of the open market. This is a prescription for economic disaster and trembling throughout Israel and the governments they puppeteer, when these dollars are dumped upon the economy after the interests payment cease.
Leaders of the major industrial powers, the G-7 turned oversight of the world economy to a more inclusive group (G-20); herald a shift in the world economic power and political centers. Challenging pre-eminence of international financial fiats of the U.S. funny monies the lobbyists place their confidence in for national security. The Israeli government will realize their arms are too short to box with God; as the world of these oppressors is soon to implode.

Although I am no lawyer or legal scholar, it has long been my understanding that US citizens and private agencies (NGOs) are prohibited from engaging in private or personal diplomatic relations or consultation with foreign governments and agencies. Or, those who do must register as foreign agents.
Is there no enforcement of laws in this case, or is this simply another example, as is dual citizenship, of "special exemptions" from the law?
It's been seventy years since I studied "Civics" in High School, but back then we were taught that US Law, under the US Constitution was equitably applied to all without exemption, distinction or discrimination.
Has anything changed since then? Or was this all part of the nourishing myth of "Freedom, Democracy, and Equality under Law which we were fed to fatten us for the wars we were to be sent off to kill and die in?
Jeff Gates has already pointed out that modern wars are fought with words as well as weapons, and the reckless and indiscriminate use of debasing and insulting epithets to discredit critics of political and ethnic groups which Zionists attempt to lump together under the protection of a "religious" umbrella should not be unexpected.
Any nation or people who would deliberately bomb schools and hospitals, targeting innocent civilians, women and children, are no more than barbarians of the lowest, most beastly and ungodly degree and we should not expect them to be any more careful and cautious with the way they use words, or the comfortable ease with which they seek sanctuary for gangsters and murderers behind the stolen veil of a Religion they have hijacked along the way as just another weapon in their armoury.

.Winston Churchill, reflecting on America's entrance into his War in Europe in 1941, once remarked, "You can always count on the Americans to do the right thing, after they have tried and failed at all else."
He was correct, of course... stresing, "...after they have tried and failed at all else."
And, they will eventually wake up to what has been happening in their cozy and incestuous relatonship with Israel.
Israel is the bad daughter, who has been screwing the parent in many literal as well as figurative ways, while being true to none but herself.
She has defied all efforts to restrain and control her rapacious appetite for power and dominatoion in the relationship, both with the US, the neighbors, and everyone else on the block... all of whom she is also screwing at the same time.
She has stolen the family credit cards and spent the family fortune, running the economy of the US into bankruptcy while at the seame time stealing all the family heirlooms and treasure, the family car and the vote in Government.
Winston did not complete what he might also have said, following his wise little bon mot.
He might have added, equally correctly, "... and when the do, they react with vengeance, responding with fierce and unrestrained overkill in the extreme!
The sleeping and ignorant Giant will not be asleep and remain ignorant forever.
The writing is on the wall, the clock is ticking!

KASRILS: WHO’S AFRAID OF RICHARD GOLDSTONE ?
On this afternoon I had the supreme privilege of hearing Justice Richard Goldstone engage journalist Bill Moyers of the Public Broadcasting Station (PBS). This signals a massive exception in journalistic treatment of the American press and media inasmuch as there was realistic and pragmatic treatment of the argument, concern and misgivings raised by the Nation of Israel and their Zionist supporters. But, more importantly the legitimacy of the Goldstone Report is undeniable and the arguments raised in opposition to it the were reduced by Justice Goldstone to vain, shallow and irrelevant public relations spin that lie in the face of legal definitions of war crimes and crimes against humanity. Strategic import of this program airing on such a respected American institution as the Bill Moyers Journal lies in the door is now being opened by other news programs hopefully finding the courage to lend a wider platform and voice for the peoples in Gaza and the Nation of Palestine.
As the global tides begin to rise in opposition to the atrocities of the Israeli occupation, it will become increasingly difficult to maintain political support in the global politic. Campaign contributions and access to Zionist wells will simply be too high.

Selling Israeli Policy – Military Tours Offered to Western Tourists”
WOW! The propaganda of illusion and deception and deceit just gets worse! It reminds me of the trip advertisement in my Vantage Travel Magazine called, "Israel: A Cultural Mosaic of Sacred Wonders". On page 67 was a map: Israel and Jordan. Where was Palestine, I asked? Half the sites to visit were in Palestine! An error? A deception? A Zionist only trip? I asked! Even a meet with a former Colonel of IDF.How would he explain the obscene walls and check points? We learned this in Warsaw! But no Palestinians mentioned even though their land is being visited!Patricia Blair
There is an old saying, “You can’t stop a movement whose time has come.” The Palestinians have waited for 62 years for justice. Their time has come and nothing that Israel does either to them will stop the tide from turning toward the Palestinians and away from Israel. Israel will not live to see its 70th birthday, not in the racist configuration it now has.

.It has often been a puzzle to me why our Congress and our Media never ever use the words Nuclear Weapons and Israel in the same sentence. We talk endlessly about the "capabiity" of Iraq-now found to be bogus and now Iran but never Israel which HAS nuclear weapons! Our Congress is pledged to support and defend our nation but somehow when it comes to this tiny country all bets seem to be off. I do not think those in Congress can serve two masters and when it comes to Israel it seems that Israel come first.
Israel has its own agenda and I fear for those who get in its way. This will not end well for Israel or for any country that dares to question its motives.
I watched in horror the small children who were murdered in Gaza and the propaganda that followed the carnage and I trembled for those who met "democracy" at the hands of our supposed friend and ally.
Now the drum beats against Iran and I am sick to think we will once again attack an innocent country and kill innocent people for those who seem to have lost their humanity. I pray for those who have become souless and will kill for something that is probably not even clear to them.

Great posting by Debbie. Scott Ritter has come a long way in the 5 or 6 years I've been observing his analyses. He still needs to realize, however, along with most of the rest of us, that Zionist Israel is not a mere drunk: it is in full-blown psychosis. Words such as those written separately by Professor Alan Sabrosky -- anent Zionist Israel's certain use of the "Samson Option" [to go along with its Masada Complex] if those around it don't accept its manipulation, periodic eruptions of military aggression to relieve the building pressure, insistence that it is the victim, and other manifestations of collective psychosis) -- MUST BE HEEDED. As Debbie speculates, it may already be too late to confront and cure this psychotic monster.

Appeasing Israel – At What Cost?”
However hard "we" try to highlight, publicise, or draw the attention of the public to the perfidy of the Zionists, progress is painfully slow.
Jeff Gates' book Guilt By Association is still resonating in my mind as is Trita Parsi's The Treacherous Alliance.
Let's put it on paper plainly with reference to the latest paranoia against Iran's nuclear ambitions led by the USA and Israel
One. lsrael has not signed the nuclear non-proliferation treaty
Two. Israel has had nuclear weapons for over thirty years which it denies, despite the evidence.
Three. This September Israel refused a request from the IEA to open its nuclear plants to inspection. Should Israel carry out its threats to attack Iran it would be a violation of the the UN charter.
As others have argued it is not Iran's nuclear activities that Israel fears ( read Trita Parsi and Jeff Gates on this subject) but a threat to its own domination of weapons of mass destruction.

SETTLING FOR FAILURE IN THE MIDDLE EAST
****************This reprobate Netanyahu and the entire Zioestablishment no more want a two-state solution than I do at this moment where the always avidly sought Zio "facts on the ground" have made any concept of a viable, workable state of Palestine a mockery of logic.
Professor Walt explains it nearly correctly, but even he (and his colleague Mearsheimer and so many others) don't get to the full extent of this Zionist enterprise of endlessly plotting the extinction of the Palestinian polity. Re the "natural growth" shibboleth, just ask any Palestinian "citizen" of ZioIsrael; just ask how such a citizen is crudely prevented "natural growth" in his or her place of residence, as the Zios squeeze and surround Palestinian Arab communities on all sides, forcing cramped, squalid, nowhere-to-go reality...and seething resentment at this forced denial of "natural growth."
As a matter of fact, the same tactic is applied in the illegally Occupied Palestinian Territories, where the illegal Apartheid Wall, creeping illegal colonies/settlements, the whole criminal spectrum of land and water theft, military "necessity," rampaging sadistic Zio settler-thugs and any other subterfuge the Zios can think of strangulate the lifeblood of "normality" from the Palestinians are carried on fervidly, with impunity. It's all part of the Zionist-enterprise full psychosis, and my and all Americans' tax dollars feed the mental illness.
Sane people MUST bring this psychosis to full exposure and undertake to control it...for the prime sake of the hapless Palestinians but just as so for American patriots tired of the Ziotail wagging our dog, for the world, and even for the decent Jews among us.

Above comment about El-Nitten showing commitment to negotiate etc… is a load of baloney! There are UN resolutions on Palestine making the acquisition of land occupied in 1967 illegal and if the Zionists want peace, they have to abide by these; no ifs, not buts. Obama knows his limitations and that he is a servant of the thugs, period. He wanted to deceptively lure the Arabs into normalisation with evil for nothing in return; that is his real mission.

If Americans Knew What Israel Is Doing! VIDEO WAS CENSORED!
****************Friend, I think you are missing the point. The reason that America supports Israel is two-fold
1.) Antisemitism - No leader wants that words used in connection with their name. They know that once it is out there, there is nothing you can do to defend against it.
2.) A very flawed view of Christian Eschatology. For a century, American theologians have insisted that Israel's return as a national figure was a key to Christ returning. Considering the weight of the ADL and the Christian Zionist movement, it is impossible to be elected if you stand against them.
Some of us Christians, however, do try to bring attention to the gross injustice which Israel is bringing upon the Palestinian people.
Joel
***************Response to Joel:
Friend, the entire term "anti-Semite has taken on a meaning absolutely unrelated to Semites, Semitism, and one's attitude toward them, and has been given new and inappropriate meaning as a term of opprobrium to be applied to any critics of Jews, Judaism, Israel, Zion or Zionism, all of which have very little to do with Semites and Semitism, but if that is the definition which they wish to apply the the terms, and those are the definitions of the terms which the general English speaking public chose to accept, then I think we should all adapt to, accept and be happy with being castigated as "Anti-Semites."'
Frankly, under the new and Jewish, Zionist, Israeli assigned definitions of the term, I am anti-Zionist, and if they choose to interpret that to mean I am anti-Semite then I am also a proud "Anti-Semite" by their definition, although I have no problem with true Semites, or Semitic people and in fact, love and side with them in their battle with Zionism.
If I have accomplished nothing at all in these years of throwing words at Zionists who redefine English to suit their own ends, and damn all else.
I accept the label "anti-Semite" as a badge of honor and recognition of my service in the pursuit of the benefit of mankind.

U.S. Interests vs The Jewish State
***************To state the obvious, Israel is not a "Jewish State." We know that approximately 21% of its population is comprised of native Palestinian Christians, Muslims and Druze.
If the large number of Christian immigrants from the former USSR who pretended to be Jews in order to enter Israel - many hoping to use it as a stop-over en route to the West - is included, the number of non-Jews is probably well over 25%.
It should also be remembered that the census for Israel still includes as citizens the near one million Jews who have emigrated abroad over the past 10 to 12 years. Hence, the percentage of Israel's citizens who are non-Jewish is probably at least 30% - hardly a "Jewish state."
Apart from resulting in a probable cancellation of the Palestinians' inalienanble 'right of return,' declaring Israel a "Jewish state" would also open the door for "encouraging" non-Jews to leave as their numbers become ever greater due to a much higher birth rate.

****************This is a superlative commentary by Alan Sabrosky. I'm fully in favor of initiating a mass movement to the current UNGA President Muammar Qaddaafi (Cc Venezuela, Brazil, Iran, Turkey, Japan, China, Syria...), asking that he invoke the provisions of the "Uniting for Peace Resolution."
Sadly, shamefully, I still have the draft shell of a letter I intended to write to previous President d'Escoto Brockman along the same line; procrastination and a fear-of-failure factor caused me to be a failure. We simply must couple our preaching-to-the-converted inclinations with concerted ACTION designed to create momentum and cause the change we know is crucially needed.
I'm not thinker enough to know the right channel, but I suggest an online petition in tandem with a letter to be drafted and "signed" online by respected, known Americans. I think Alan would be a natural as the first signer; don't know whether Tony Judt, Richard Falk, Mearsheimer and Walt, Rashid Khalidi, George Bisharat, President Carter, Ralph Nader, Joel Kovel, Cynthia McKinney, Cindy Sheehan, Ann Wright...many others up to, say, 100 would "sign," but we must engage the effort.
I have tried several times in past years -- most recently anent the appointment of Zionist Rahm Emanuel -- to convince a retired Ambassador-CIA-et al e-group to which I contribute to undertake such concerted action; to my disgust, the typical reaction is "Well, let's wait a bit...." as the train steamrolls

I am baffled by the omission of possibility #4. As someone who reads faces, I find this possibility most likely.
He is in the presidency for the thrill of the political spotlight. It’s a career to him. Just like Hillary Clinton. He wants to “be somebody.” He knows that to get power you have to be evil and he is consciously deciding to do what it takes to elevate himself careerwise.
I continue to be confused why anyone ever believed that Obama had any ethical standards however weak. I’ve simply never seen any evidence other than that he is excellent at double speak and he’s an excellent manipulator.

Why The Goldstone Report Matters
****************While viewing the tides of opposition to America’s healthcare debate it becomes clear to me that the will of the people does not typically prevail in the corridors of government and industry. Lives of the constituents American politicians were elected to protect and serve are all too often set aside for political expediencies. Clarity for understanding the immoral soul of the U.S. government bidding to abandon rule of law in the face of the Gaza carnage and America’s UN initiative against the Goldstone Report then finds a reasonable framework. A nation hesitant to save the lives of its own people should be expected to justify turning their faces from moral truths and lifting its voice in opposition to Muslim’s becoming congressional aides. Hence, resorting to the call of higher laws and couching in there spirits provides refuge with knowledge, “The guilty shall in no wise escape.” Goldstone Report echoes and reverberates throughout the structures and horns of AIPAC powers and their political cronies.
These have sown horror unimaginable to me as the world now stands in witness. Fear of these perpetrators should not be singled on public relations misgivings but in finding fear of the God they purport serving.

Unity or Annihilation – The Real Choice For The Palestinians
In 2007, leaked documents revealed, 'US Plot against Hamas.'
One document, dated March 2007, stated “the plan will enable the Palestinian leadership to be more credible in the eyes of Israel and the others.” A clearly stated objective of US foreign policy, with explicit definition of US priorities.
It is unfortunate that Fatah played into the hands of US foreign policy. The unity government failed to end factional fighting and in June, Hamas seized Gaza, dividing the Palestinian territories into Gaza and the Fatah-controlled West Bank. "Factional fighting" can be sponsored, inspired or conducted by any of the large number of covert agencies all of whom are working effectively in Palestine. Then we blame whomever it is expedient to blame to further our purposes.
I sometimes wonder whether Israel's massive immigration policies are not a long-range plan to face a one man vote situation by importing votes enough to outnumber the Arab/Palestinian folk. If so, they have a long way to go, continuing to build houses and importing as many votes as possible, and killing opposition votes, and it would be a task akin to bailing out the ocean with a small dipper... but who can account for the schemes of Zionists?
The only possible scenario for Palestine would be: a two state solution, with partitioned borders, and all refugees wanting to return. East Jerusalem as capital of Palestine
(Hamas has accepted that) with basic Palestine Law duly modified. One state solution would be ideal, one man, one vote, but in the real world, where Israeli Politik exists, it is unlikely that it will ever happen.
Therefore, in my estimate, although far from desirable, a two-state arrangement, which I shall not grace with the term "solution," may be the only achievable, however unacceptable, arrangement possible with the co-operation of Hamas. They are a mass movement, with strong roots among the people and with an active determined leadership. If such an arrangement can be agreed upon, and if it stops the bloodshed, then by all means, they should do it and sort out the details later on.

“UN Inquiry Finds Israel “Punished and Terrorized” Palestinian Civilians, and Committed War Crimes
The UN inquiry has found Israel "punished and terrorized" civilians in its three week assault earlier this year on Palestinians.
My deep concern is that Governor Linda Lingle and her executive committee,Lenny Klompus, Corrie Heck, Debbie Weil,Tammy Kubo, and Betty White have issued an invite to war criminal, Tzipi Livni, former Foreign Minister of Israel, who is one of those responsible for the Gaza Massacres, to be an "honored speaker" at the Hawaii sponsored International Women's Conference on September 22, 2009.
This invite is an insult to all who value human rights and must be immediately recinded.
In fact how does such a "terrorist" receive a visa to enter the US?

And they will do all this in plain sight and with impunity, with US-weapons, US-dollars, US-young men and women and US-Media!

Land First, Then Peace
***************Great Men" such as Gandhi, Mandela or King did not emerge and rise from a vacuum, nor stand on a pillar of their own making. Time and circumstances impelled by a massive body of popular need, ideals and dreams of the people, thrust them to the fore, and sustained them until they met their ends.
I see no prevailing coordinated or mass movement in Arab camps, except Fortress Israel! Which indicates to me that they are winning, or at least having their way.
The only recourse for Palestinians is to unite and stay committed to their struggle. Palestine is the last of the liberation struggles. They must prevail, not some day, but soon!

“Shortly after the Six-Day War in 1967... the United Nations Security Council passed a resolution stating that, in order to form “a just and lasting peace in the Middle East,” Israel must withdraw from these newly occupied lands. The Fourth Geneva Convention similarly notes “the occupying power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.”
Israel’s continuing defiance of this and more than two hundred other UN Resolutions restraining or restricting Israeli war and occupation of Palestinian land, and according Palestinian Rights, while continuing to cite UN General Assembly Resolution 181 of November 29, 1947 as the basis of Israel’s existence, is inconsistent with the practice of International Law, and Justice, and indicative that Israel accepts no Law of Justice but what it wills.
“In order to achieve peace and a lasting two-state solution, Israel must be willing to give as well as take. A first step should be the immediate removal of all Israeli settlements in the West Bank. Only this would show the world that Israel is serious about peace and not just stalling as it adds more illegal settlers to those already occupying Palestinian land.”
This is a perfectly reasonable and just proposition, consistent with UN General Assembly Resolutions dealing with the Israeli-Palestinian issues, and International Law and accords.. That Israel does not accept it is indicative that Israel is not bound by reason and Justice, and has no interest in seeking “peace” except on their terms, which means total subjegation of Palestine and Palestinians to their swill, and that they can retain their illegitimate and unjust spoils of war, land stolen from and undefended people.
Israel can only be regarded as a renegade State, and must be treated as such, not only by Saudi Arabia, who have taken the only proper stance toward Israel and the issue of peace in the Middle East., but by the International Community worldwide, The UN has never shed its “baby teeth” and remains effectively a “toothless paper tiger.”
It is high time that the International Community, and the UN General Membership take matters into their hands to do what is necessaryy to achieve peace in the Middle East.
If this means that the UN must undergo radical surgery to implant fangs and grow claws, then so be it!

How Israel’s Nuclear Arsenal endangers Us All
It is high time that US Government took a step to declare openly that no country in the middle east should be allowed to possess nuclear weapons and the speedy disarmament of its nuclear arsenals and monitored by the Nuclear body IAEA.
This is imperative if we are to see that India,Pakistan,North Korea and then may be Iran can follow suit.
As long as Israel can have them and not be forced by its father the US then how can we be playing fare if they were allowed to possess the weapons.

Appeasing Israel – At What Cost?
***************Can the arts move enough people emotionally and politically to make a difference ?
At perfomances of my monologue Bitter Fruit of Palestine many members of the audience confess their ignorance of the background and ongoing humiliation of the Palestinian people. Ilan Pappe has written incisively of the ethnic cleansing carried out by Ben Gurion and his cohorts.
Palestinian Walks by Rajah Shehadeh is a moving, beautifully written book that encapsulates the sense of dispossession endured by Palestinians. Hollow Land by Eyal Weizman underlines Shehadeh's and the Palestinian's sense of alienation.
Nahum Goldman. President of the World Jewish Congress wrote " The things that are being done in my name and yours...we will never be able to escape the responsibility and to say we did not know and we did not hear".

I congratulate you on this article and thank you for exposing Israeli-US relationship, which I think is the biggest hypocricy people have expected from United States of America.
This collaboration in fact can easily be described as a genocide of Arab Moslems in open yet the so-called civilized world whose mouths utter “freedom, liberty and equality” whenever they open.
This a shame on this nation.

Treason, Betrayal and Deceit: The Road to 9/11 and Beyond
This analysis by Professor Sabrosky is as excellent and crucial in its own way as that of Jeff Gates, also 9/10/09, on the "greatest threat to world peace is the U.S.-Israeli alliance."
It is a never-ending mystery to me that intelligent commentators like Gates, Sabrosky, Paul Craig Roberts, and so many others cannot awaken America. We are in big trouble. America, wake up! There are traitors galore in our midst! Pay heed to Gates, Sabrosky et al!

What Role Did the U.S.-Israeli Relationship Play in 9-11?
***************This is the Jeff Gates I've come to expect. A great commentary. We -- Americans, especially the Palestinians, the world -- are in big trouble. To me, the two most significant sentences from this tour de force are --
"The greatest threat to world peace is not terrorists. The greatest threat is the U.S.-Israeli relationship."
Amen. Presidents Washington and Jefferson warned us about entangling foreign alliances and passionate attachments to foreign powers. I can't imagine that even they envisioned the depth of danger involved in our disastrous dalliance with Zionist Israel.

Thank you for Jeff Gates article. It is my impression that Obama with his first selections of personnel for close advisors, he has shown his position. There will unfortunately be no change with Israel.
The voting public are still in shock in America. A lot in denial. Obama and the Democratic Party have deceived them. It would have been no different if Hillary Clinton had been elected. She and Bill sold their souls long ago.
For the most part the American media is trash! Captialism is about exploiting the weaker for profit thus destroying Democracy!
The American people are going to have to turn off the football games, Fox News, CNN, etc. and turn a critical eye to their government, State and Federal. Blogs such as this are important.
Thank you very much.

Disengaging America from the Israeli Lobby
Karin Friedmans' article is incisive in it's analysis. Her assessment of the criminal Zionist-Imperial design is an affirmation & will be supported by an overwhelming majority of the American people, who are suffering under the Zionist occupation of their country.

***************Zionist Israel is a criminally psychotic rogue "poison in the Middle East" which needs to be brought to heel. Starting by forcing it to comply with international law would be good. Cutting off all public (my tax $s!) and private largesse to it would be a next logical step toward requiring it to recognize its psychosis, face it square on, and seek therapeutic treatment....
The lesson learned for patriotic Americans concerned about core national-security interests? -- abide by Presidents Washington and Jefferson's advice to avoid entangling foreign alliances and passionate attachments to a foreign country.
May the brave, tormented Palestinians survive their endless ordeal.

Critiques of Uri Avnery’s Opposition to Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions
***************Jeff Blankfort has written a thorough and well-thought-out argument against the existence of Israel, by any name or other name, coz the crimes it commits daily in perpetrating and trying to expand the actuality of its existence in and upon Palestinian lands.
This is a reasonable and rational argument, which stands firmly on its own two feet and to which neither Uri Avnery nor so many other Zionists will be able to respond to except with an unreasonable and passionate argument based upon passion of "Prayer" and false and irrational premises of the so-called Zionist inspired "dictates of God!"
Uri is obviously a good and well- intentioned patriot of his people and what he sees as "his country." How he expects his dreams of peace and unity to come to fruition under the terms he describes is beyond, me.
He also knows well-enough to start the dissertation with a nice story!

***************Jeff has articulated in his response to Uri what many activists have been saying for some good time. the problem with Uri and some other softy zionists is with their inability to grasp the historical injustice that been imposed on Palestinians for the last 6 decades plus.
Uri genuinely believes that he advocates for peace, but unfortunately he can't reconcile the fact that Peace must be based on justice, Bravery to take responsibility and be willing to acknowledge the unbearable consequences of death, expulsion, misery, shattered lives and dreams of Palestinians by the Zionists and Jewish agencies while perusing own dream.
It is beyond any logical thinking that Uri would reject the call for peaceful Boycott while israeli army, tanks and Bulldozers still occupying Palestine.

The Best Congress AIPAC Can Buy
"Many Americans who thought that the health care debate was important must have wondered where their congressmen were in early August during the first two weeks of the House of Representatives recess.
It turns out they were not hosting town hall meetings or listening to constituents because many of them were in Israel together with their spouses on a trip paid for by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).
Fully 13% of the entire US House of Representatives, 56 members, traveled to Israel in the largest AIPAC-sponsored fact-finding visit by American politicians ever conducted."
Me thinks you are deceived: that's where they were, servicing their constituents who put them in office, and whom they serve. You did not believer that they are serving some great unwsk shed, illiterate and unpaying US American constituency, did you?

The Elders View of the Middle East
I can not understand how Jews, who were so horribly treated by others, most recently, some 50 years ago, by the Nazis, turn around and treat another culture, another group of World Citizens, so horribly.
Having worked many years as a Counselor I learned, and witnessed, how so often those who were abused grow up to be abusers. We counselors tried to “break the cycle” of abuse.
The hardest part, the first step, was to get the abused to forgive the abusers. Not out of charity or religious belief or even compassion. But to forgive them because the abusers had something wrong with them. For whatever reason the abusers had not learned that we are all part of the same human family.
There was something missing in how they viewed others, how they viewed the world. And unless we forgive, we can not let go of anger and hate. And until we let go of anger and hate, we can never stop the cycle of violence and move on.
Certainly there was justification for that hate and anger. But what good is it doing now? You do not forgive people for treating other people horribly. You forgive them for being flawed. You forgive them for being poorly raised, poorly brought up, poorly put together. You forgive them not for what they did, but for whatever caused them to get to that point, for whatever it was that made them belive that what they were doing was acceptable.
Yes they were at fault. Yes they were to blame. But do we want to raise others, future generations, to be like them, to have those same faults, to view the world and others the way that they viewed others and the world?
To stop the cycle of violence we need to purge ourselves of the hate and the anger that are the remnants of abuse.

The Free Gaza Movement
I was surprised that Dr. Mahathir was not one among the Grand Elder Statesmen touring the Middle East.
Dr. Mahathir was a great man and Premier in his own small Malaysian and Asean theater, and had the potential to be an even bigger star on the world stage.
When he "retired," I thought that he had a good opportunity for a shot at Kofi Annan's job, and hoped that he would go for it.
He didn't make any sort of move in that direction, but he would have made an excellent General Secretary of the UN; a man with vision, as honest as any politician can afford to be and survive, with courage.
Too bad! He was a powerful man with powerful ideas and ideals, a powerful ego and sense of righteousness, which I am sure was viewed by the opposition with alarm and made him a threatening adversary which may have been his undoing.
He is still a strong man, with strong convictions and a strong sense of righteousness; rare commodities in international political circles these days!
Earlaiman
Mahathir Mohamad is one of the world's leading pacificists. Mahathir's work in the global peace movement since retiring from his office as Prime Minister of Malaysia is setting a global standard for all people concerned about violations of human rights.
In his thoughtful column above, Mahathir makes a compelling case for sending contributions to the KLFCW (Gaza Fund). I hope that many will make contributions, large and small.

Did Leviev’s Empire Succumb to Boycott?
Anyone with the connections and the financial chicanery to accumulate $1.4 BN indebtedness has also the connections and chicanery to salt away a few secure millions as a comfortable reserve parachute.
This is not going to stop, slow down or have any effect on Mr. Leviev and associate's building plans! Perhaps he can starve and unhouse even more Palestinian children by what he has statched away.
The machinery of politics and money, as well as the will of God, works in mysterious ways, which we mere mortals shall never comprehend!
The bottom line is Mr. Leviev is now going to have to find some other means and venue in which to pay his self-imposed fines to ameliorate his guilt for the evil he is doing in the world.
I am sure he will find a way. Perhaps a few millions in donations to the NY Children's Hospital, right there in New York ?
Zionist such as Mr. Leviev, are not stupid. They know what they are doing and the extent and degree of evil which they perpetrate. They simply donot let such fine sentiments get between them and the money. They do not suffer guilt easily.
They buy salvation and grace in their own coin, money! The greater the sin, the more you give. God it appears can be bribed too... Oops! Lobbied?

Former Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni Is No Role Model for Hawaii’s Women
Years ago, when the debate on assigning women in the Military to combat duties was a hot one, the US Air force conducted some studies between the sexes which surprisingly to some who did not know them very well illustrated that women were more deadly and ready to kill than most men.
Surprising? Not really, when you consider the protective "motherly Instinct" in woman, versus the culturaly engendered "machismo" or "heroic" instincts" of men, whose "survival of the species" instincts are more focued on getting laid as soon and as often as possible, while the mother's is more focused on protecting the newborn or suckling infant.
In this regard, Mama Livni might be a more appropriate speaker on a US Air Force Recruiting Program than at a Women's Convention where academics and wallahs from business and other "common" walks of life come to be confronted with heroines and their success stories.
On the other hand, body counts, blood and broken or stolen body parts all make better-selling and more profitable news than the bottom lines of Corporate Accounts and Dividends, so maybe they should let her speak!

URI AVNERY Against the Israeli Boycott
***************I unequivocally admire and endorse Blankfort, Peterson, Hamadeh and Anees's ripostes to Avnery. Mr. Avnery is a great writer, great man -- but above all a great Zionist whose Zionism in the end colors and blots out all else.
Zionist Israel has been and is increasingly mired in criminal psychosis -- and one doesn't codde, or overlook, or enable psychosis...period. Avnery is dead (too many dead Palestinians for too many decades) wrong here. He should become "desperate," as all Palestinians and their true, horrified supporters are desperate.
BDS -- Bring 'em on, along with treatment of psychosis, charges of international crimes against humanity, and resolute action to address ending the illegal occupation, the Palestinians' right to return, right to a shared Jerusalem, right to justice in all areas of this endless miasma of torment administered by the criminally psychotic Zionist regime controlling Israel, reparations, etc.

***************Arguments about the efficiency of an Israeli boycott which cite the efficiency of the Soth African boycott tend to ignore some of the fundamental economic differences between the two states.
South Africa was largely dependent on the products of a South African economy, which the world eventually boycotted, and it hurt to a degress where it had effect.
Israel is a parasite State, which survives and thrives on the rest of the world, and its economy and its investment, is too dispersed and diversified outside the State of "Israel" (sic) that any meaningful boycott of "Israel's" product would not only be extremely difficult, but totally ineffective.
Living of the blood, might and economic strength of the US (which by the way is running a bit anemic now -a- days) they are protected from damage from any boycott, and it would prove ineffective however thorough it was.
Uri Avnery has some very good points here.
But, if it makes anyone happy to boycott, then by all means do so.
Good luck, God Bless you and have a nice day.

Anis expresses well my feelings about Israeli and US actions toward the Palestinians; disgust and revulsion. Governments may do little for human rights, but individuals can do much to boycott the illegal occupying perpetrators. Human decency calls for a boycott of events that sponsor Israeli war criminals.

Appeasing Israel – At What Cost ?
The Guardian Newspaper is publishing this week a report from Palestine on the subject of the settlements From the various interviews it is clear that a majority of the settlers are comparative newcomers (Like their foreign Minister) with a fanatical belief in the right of Jews to the land of Israel/Palestine as confirmed by the Old Testament I don’t like to tread on beliefs….”tread softly for you tread on my dreams” but there is no hope of reconciliation with such creationist nonsense and bigotry.
Israel must be brought to the conference table and forced into a morally just position by American and European threats to withdraw financial aid. Boycotts played a huge part in bringing to an end apartheid in South Africa
I hope to be broadcasting my monologue Bitter Fruit of Palestine on YouTube shortly as my small contribution to the cause.

Very good, the story of the USS Liberty needs to be spread far and wide. It has been suppressed by the US Gov't for 40 years. I correspond with one of the survivors on a semi-regular basis, and what happened to them is high crime by a complicit gov't. Israel is NOT a friend of the US.

How Israel Wages Game Theory Warfare
***************How appropriate that Israel would use a theory developed and lauded by a schizophrenic. Of course, he had the sense to turn his back on it after a few years of therapy in the "puzzle factory".
It's also fitting that the theory is based on Machiavellian self interest and irrational paranoia despite its pretense of "assuming rationality". Zionists see imagined threats everywhere, even when they're the biggest one in the area (to themselves and others) and have built an entire ideology (and government) on the premise of "looking out for #1. Seems rather self fulfilling.
I just watched "The Trap" in case that wasn't obvious already. Nice article.
the Pair
***************Though I agree with the concepts behind the article, the idea that Israel or any nation for that fact can use game-theory to promote self-serving events and situations is a little over the top no matter how well rationalized.
Game theory, like any other such theory requires a set of variables, to provide a conclusion within a realm of possibility denoted by a percentage. For example the, most common of such logic examples is the prediction of the weather based on daily weather attributes. Thus if day 5 exhibits the same attributes as the previous 4 days, the weather will be conceivably the same as the previous 4 days.
Though the resulting percentage of probability will be high there is no guarantee that the weather will behave exactly as expected.
The same conditions hold true for game theory calculations by the Israelis. By the time they enter the desired variables and conclude a result, most if not all of the variables could have changed and it would only take a minor alteration to knock the entire process out sync.
Israeli history up until current times is filled with incompetence decision making, poor judgments, and failed endeavors... just like any other country for the simple fact that Israel, like every other country on the face of the planet is comprised of Earth's lowest life form... the Human Being...
Steve Naidamast
***************Thanks for that comment. The criticism makes the case. As you point out, it is by managing variables that the probabilistic nature of game theory warfare progresses successfully -- in plain sight yet non-transparently and, to date, with legal impunity despite its treasonous nature.
Variables are managed with lengthy pre-staging and sophisticated orchestration. To limit the variables, game theory warfare relies not only on agents but also "assets" and an extensive nationwide corps of sayanim (volunteers) as described in "How Israel Wages War in Plain Sight" (include link).
Israel's corruption of the U.S. political process further limits key variables. In practical effect, the Israel Lobby gradually displaced place-based representative government (where elections are based on districts and states) with a Diaspora-based "dollar democracy" that enabled nationwide pro-Israeli fundraising to focus on key races. See "How the Israel Lobby Influences U.S. Foreign Policy." (include link). With the aid of McCain-Feingold campaign finance "reform," Tel Aviv was able to limit key political variables, further enabling game theory warfare to proceed.
Step-by-step, this "asset-ification" process built support for Israeli operations by a series of compromised Congresses and presidencies—regardless of party. As an informed public grasps the key role that assets play in game theory warfare, the personal criminality liability of those assets will come sharply into focus. For good reason, treason has long been classified as a capital crime.
Jeff
***************Not a bad try Jeff, but it really looks like another Game Theory to (albeit gradually) whitewash Israel’s heinous behavior.
Israel’s behavior is not “often immoral and unjust”, it is almost always so. Also, it is never rational because their supremacist attitude has been Game Theory’d for millennia by irrational rabbis blowing the synonyms of “chosen’ completely out of sense, proportion and rationality, to the extent that we are now observing a zombie nation running amok.
Marijonas Vilkelis
***************Iyt is interesting that advanced Game Theory was developed by John Nash and he won the Nobel Prize for it. He assumed rational human behavior…he has since renounced his own theory because humans do not act in a rational manner.
This leads to Nicholas Taleb…who wrote in Fooled By Randomness and The Black Swan that all of these models break down eventually. Israel’s models are broken. They are losing the ultimate game as less and less Jews define themselves as Zionists.
Jaffer
***************Dear Sir
your theory is probably correct.
But I know for a fact that almost all countries have very similar groups who provide the predictions that guide the ruling class
It starts with priests who base their predictions on stars and signs in the beginning followed by military advisors who predict victory based on weapons and scientific strategies and finally by economic analysts based on charts and mathematical equations. We have had this in our tradition more than 2500 years ago and we have books on them.
But finally they all destroy themselves simply because of the natural growth of human spirit to survive.
If Palestinians are suffering today, it is because they are thinking rationally and feel the best way to survive is to accept the Israel torture. Not that they cannot fight against Israel. But survival is ensured by obedience. Some young blood would like to fight and die. So be it.
The black Africans accepted the power of White colonialist and suffered much. But their children gained access to America and millions today are benefiting the fruits of that suffering. The Blacks never build ships to conquer other lands. But they are everywhere in American continent.
Game Theories used by Israel are almost as good as the priest in India who predicts your future based on lines in your hands. As Mr Mathews above have pointed out Israel is not really gaining anything. They are clearly moving towards their inevitable collapse. All the walls they are building will soon (maybe not so soon) will end up another wailing wall.

This is a surpassingly good commentary -- as is the whole of Mr. Gates' book "Guilt By Association." I make one observation regarding the above statement "Israeli behavior is often immoral and unjust but that does not mean it is irrational." While agreeing with it, I believe that it must be expanded: "rational" behavior can be found within a system of collective psychosis.
Zionist Israel is mired in a criminal psychosis...and the psychotic is in charge of the (global) asylum. This psychotic manipulates, lies, creates diversions, plots, plans, is endlessly enabled, explodes periodically in psychotic rage -- always in furtherance of its objectives of dominance and hegemony.
Zionism is off the rails of sanity, and the sooner the world recognizes and acts upon its psychosis, the better for the Palestinians and for all of us.

***************Sometimes truth is even more bizarre than fiction....
As with so many other things, Israel has received statutory exemption from many restrictions. Israel (government) bonds bought by US citizens (not just dual US-Israeli citizens) are tax-deductible here just like US (government) bonds.
US citizens (almost exclusively Jews, but not limited to them them by law) can serve in the IDF(as Emanuel did) and not compromise their US citizenship. And since most American Jews (or Jewish converts) who have emigrated to Israel have retained their US citizenship, thus allowing (e.g.) an American Jew who has lived in a West Bank settlement for 20 years to vote in US elections as well as those in Israel), these "clowns" (so appropriate!) can legally argue that they are simply meeting their constituents who happen to be living in Israel, and under the law, that is what they are doing -- just like (a legal technicality) if they visited their constituents at a US Army firebase in Afghanistan or South Korea.
Sometimes truth is even more bizarre than fiction....

You say "If the Bible is not the LITERAL WORD OF GOD, then the Jewish "right" to palestine is just a MYTH also."

Then, You and everyone who believes this are ACTUALLY EXTREMIST, FANATIC AND FASCIST CHRISTIAN TERRORISTS, to use the same definition today by the Main Stream Media, in relation to any Islamic action or opinion.
Israel is a MYTH in all senses, if you are Christian or athiest.

***************anti-GENTILISM is the problem. Until Israel accepts ALL People as Equals there can be no peace.
If the Bible is not the LITERAL WORD OF GOD, then the Jewish “right” to Palestine is just a MYTH also. The President of the United States has just admitted that the Bible is NOT LITERAL.
On 09 Dec 2008 Mr Bush, who leaves office January 20, told ABC television, Asked whether the Bible was literally true, Mr Bush replied: “Probably not. No, I’m not a literalist, but I think you can learn a lot from it.”
The U.N. created Israel from thin air, therefore the U.N. SHOULD dissolve Israel, and/or take control of the entire Palestine, disarm ALL parties, and administer Palestine until the People can peacefully coexist. A State/Nation is a SELF-sufficient body. Israel has lived off WELFARE CHECKS from America since day-one. Therefore Israel is neither a state or a nation. Israel is a “client” a CHARITY recipient, a DEPENDENT.

It is time that the American people send AIPAC's clowns packing. Inspite of what 71 U.S. Senators requested of Obama to "press Arab leaders for "dramatic gestures" on behalf of the Middle East Peace, an aware public knows that it is the Israeli leaders who have hindered Middle East Peace in every possible way.
Voters please start a list of possible treasonous Congressional representatives who are undermining President Obama's call for Israel to stop colonial expansion in Palestine which is essential to peace in the Holy Land.
The list begins with: Rep. Eric Cantor, Virginia, Rep. Steny Hoyer, Maryland, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Florida. Add the 25 Republican Congresspersons who traveled to Israel as AIPAC's guests. Nothing good for the American people can be the result of this trip and other such trips.

Disclosure of the Zionist personalities and the corporations they control now revealed, multiplies in its significance after the CIA discloses sixty-five percent (65%) of the national economy of Israel is generated from the services industry. Providing foundation for understanding why U.S. legislative action has ensued that covers up the identity of Israeli corporations and their American business interests. What has been introduced are avenues of investigation and hard targets for researching the very power structure of AIPAC and other pro-Israeli agencies employed to further what I now frame as a Zionist agenda.
Failures to collectively address this invaluable reconnaissance, only serves to relegate the audience to the status of informed spectators. Where lies vision and leadership amongst us? For, it is only through engagement that change is ushered and power can be transformed into compassion. The problems of injustice perpetuated by the Israeli nation and the congress who provides them blessings, arms and military dollars is commonly understood. Redress of these wrongs cries aloud for leadership and passion to take its place amongst us over higher ratings and being politically correct during this era of the Patriot Act. Who will come forth to lead us???

IT'S THE PSYCHOSIS! The criminal psychosis which increasingly drives Zionism and its platform, Zionist Israel, erupts periodically in a paroxysm of violence. The psychosis simmers -- like a beast in a horror novel or film, its core bubbles, expands, and intensifies -- and must explode again and again until its bloodlust is temporarily sated.
From Franklin Lamb's narrative, Lebanon is about to experience the next cycle of psychotic violence. After all, the rape and pillage of Gaza was 8 months ago, and Lebanon 2.5 years before that -- with, of course, "low-level" bullying tactics and forays a constant feature of "life" for this criminal psychotic which, implausibly, is always given impunity and thus is enabled until the next time.
I sense that these explosions are shortening in frequency, increasing in intensity. Pity Lebanon, next (again) on the list of the psychotic....

ISRAEL SELLS OFF REFUGEE’S HOPES
Millions applaud the United Church of Canada Conference for recognizing the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians by the Israeli Government these past 60 years. There is no right of return for Jews to Biblical land, nor did the Palestinian have anything to do with the holocaust.
Unfortunately the Palestinians find themselves in ghettos, denied food, water, housing, travel, and medical care, all basic human rights, under the Illegal Israeli Occupation.
Israel did sign a UN right of return resolution for the Palestinians which has not been honored. It appears that it is the Canadian Jewish Community that is in denial about Israeli actions of Apartheid of the Palestinians which Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu describes as worse than what Black Africans experienced.
Your "Christian Brothers and Sisters" are saying: "ENOUGH"! We support our Palestinian Brothers and Sisters, Muslim and Christian, in their struggle for freedom, justice, and right of return. This cry of "anti-semantics" about those who condemn Israeli violations doesn't work anymore.
The internet has wondrously opened the citizens of the world to the truth of Zionism and Israel's corrupt government.

Obama is Right Not to Spoil Israel in the Same Way that Bush Did”
Seemingly, any voice in opposition to the Israeli – Palestine status quo unleashes whirlwinds of attacks while international crimes and terrorism carried out by the nation of Israel or its pro-Israeli supporters is virtually silenced and goes unreported in America.
Jeff Gates author of ‘Guilt By Association— How Deception and Self-Deceit Took America to War’ (2008) recently published The Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) model legislation advance, anti-Semitism should also include criticism of Israel. Now they turn to silence the peoples to whom they owe their very existence. Spiritual head of Israel’s Ultra-Orthodox Shas Party Rabbi Ovadia describes Obama as “a Slave” Ruling the World.
Failures at peace is not the failure of a president who reached out to embrace the Arab people, introduced daring new ideas and attempts to forge relationships with those who stood in hatred of American hypocrisy. China recently stated more serious attempts at peace is needed by Israel. Saudi Arabia published the Arab world’s making concessions to Israel for over ten years and there must be reciprocity from the Nation of Israel’s governmental leadership and coalitions. While 76 U.S. senators signed a letter telling Obama not to pressure Israel and 330 members of the House did the same.

Pro-Israel Lobby Determined to Deny Robinson her Freedom Medal!
Look on the bright side: What these pro-Israel lobbyists do not seem to realize is that their brazen bully-boy attempts to suppress criticism of Israel by portraying all who support the Palestinians as “anti- Semites” etc. are having major negative effects for them within the general American population.
The “honeymoon” for Israel is coming to an end. Thanks to the Internet, and indeed, even an increasing number of critical reports in the mainstream media, average Americans are now realizing what a monster Israel is.
To its great shock, surveys conducted in the U.S. and Canada by the pro-Israel lobby confirm that the more people learn about the Israel/Palestinian conflict, the more pro-Palestinian they become.
The wheels are turning. Israel will suffer the same fate as all settler/colonialist states and zionism, a 19th century white-supremacist ideology will end up in history’s dumpster.

Israel’s Fifth Column: “The People in Between “
***************I keep repeating this, hoping that my "diagnosis" will catch fire, become common, and lead to a confrontation of this nightmare in which the pitiable Palestinians are at ground zero and the rest of us watch in horrified, transfixed helplessness:
Zionism, with its state-terroristic platform in Zionist Israel, has become a full-on criminally psychotic ideology...and one doesn't treat psychosis by honoring its victim, enabling it via cold cash and murderous military weapons, supporting it politically and diplomatically with kneejerk fealty, etc. This psychosis must be called out, isolated, treated, and if possible rehabilitated.

***************Wolf Blitzer, CNN, is one of the reason that I no longer watch CNN. Ted Turner must deeply regret selling a once reputable news media.
Now CNN, FOX, CBS, ABC, and NBC and their various owners use public airways to dispatch untruths that promote fears and ignorance whether about Canadian or British Health Care, Israeli Government Apartheid of the Palestinians, or the now push to make Iran the next victim of the Israeli and US military.
It isn't only Zionist Jews or Christian commentators, but also newspaper columnists such as Thomas Friedman, David Brooks, Victor Hanson, Charles Kaulthammer, Victor Hanson and others with their subtle and not so subtle negative suggestions about Iran while ignoring Israeli and US nuclear weapons.
In this game of distruction of the planet, I plea that my fellow citizens wake up and protest.

Not Just Little Man, Big Name.
Oh, my God, how does one counter such a surreptitiously organized slick piece of deceptive tool?
I recall “The First Gulf War” was, basically, brought to us live by “CNN.”
On the ground, we saw the two stars of CNN in action. Peter Arnett in downtown Baghdad, pretty much alone.
Wolf Blitzer chose the opportunistic safety of Tel Aviv where all the "valuable" contacts were located which eventually made him Top Banana over Pete at CNN.
Why ? Simple! The dumb journalist Pete never learned how to dissemble, play the game and lie for them like a “good” embedded (that means sleeping in the same bed with) journalist should. He had this tendency, you see, to see things like they were and write about them that way.
This used to be known, in the much earlier days as journalism; As reporting the news or, telling the truth!
I hope Pete Arnett that small hero made it to that little Island in the South Pacific, while the Blitzers reap the big stakes, paid by the Milo Minderbinders.

Presiding Episcopal Bishop Sends Letter to Secretary of State About Eviction of Palestinian Families
I very much admire Presiding Bishop Jefferts Schori’s articulate and forthright letter to SECSTATE Clinton. However, we as Christian or secular moralists, as we long for and pursue a path of peace worthy of The Prince of Peace, must come to recognize that the Zionist ideology which has overwhelmed Judaism has devolved into a vast, collective psychosis. Yes, psychosis. One does not deal with psychosis by “lamenting” actions taken by the psychotic or “asking” that actions be rescinded. Bully psychotics (and any knowledgeable person must admit that Israel is a cruel, unrelenting bully, one practicing state terrorism in myriad ways) are manipulators, users, ill persons (or ill collective systems) of abnormal, aberrent, unacceptable behavior in crucial need of confrontation, diagnosis, firm treatment, and, one expects, eventual return to health and normal function.
I am glad that the words “act with impunity” appeared in the Presiding Bishop’s letter. Israel has operated for far too long in full expectation of impunity…because we, the “other” residents of this “civilized” world, have averted our eyes, or excused present abhorrent behavior based on some past wrong done to the psychotic, and/or otherwise created and enabled a culture OF IMPUNITY. This must end, and soonest — for the good of the observant Jews following their God, and most especially for the pitiable, endlessly tormented God’s children of Palestine, whether they be in the illegally Occupied Territories, in nearby countries’ squalid, over-crowded refugee camps, in the wider diaspora, or in (borderless) Israel itself, where the 20-percent Palestinian-Arab Israeli “citizens” who face humiliating discrimination and outright savagery as facts of their daily existence.
It will behoove all of us to recognize and act upon these harsh but undeniable realities.
Thank you for permitting me to express my views in this forum.

Congressmen tell Israelis: Obama’s approach “troubling”
Virginia Rep. Eric Cantor is trying to keep mended Republican fences and bridges with Israel and Israeli influence, albeit as a US Representative to congress his utterance of such statements outside the House and especially to a foreign audience border misuse of Office if not treason.
It is important to expose the methods which they employ in their chicanery, such as their trip to Israel for personal and party political purposes, which are done in the bad interest of and contrary to US policy as set by the Executive Branch.
Congressman Eric Cantor and his friends treacherous and underhanded methods should be brought before the general public. This is the kind of stuff that should be archived and brought out again at Election time to defeat Cantor and every incumbent Republican Congressman who accompanied him on the trip, and every candidate who carried his next political campaign to Tel Aviv looking for vote$ and support!

*****************What is troubling is the Zionist AIPAC apparent control over Americas Congress. Israel is trying to push America into a war with Iran. That would be a disaster! Please wake up and take back our American Government.

I find Rep.Eric Cantor's remarks deeply disturbing, almost treasonous in his obvious efforts to defend Israel's illegal occupation of Palestine and the ever expanding illegal Israeli settlements and violation of the Palestinian human rights.
In regards to Obama questioning the illegal eviction of two Palestinian families, Rep. Cantor goes on to say," I'm very troubled by that, because I don't think we in America would want another country telling us how to implement and execute our laws.
It is obvious that the voters of the state that Rep. Cantor represents should immediately recall him as he obvious represents Israel's interests over Americas. Thinking Americans definitely do not want Zionist dictating policy terms to our Congress or President.

Obama Wants Peace, but will Congress Pressure Israel ?
***************Ghassan's piece, seems to illustrate the conflicting intra-party forces between the Executive and the Congress within the Demoparty which Obama faces.
The Congress does not seem to understand what is happening or is still so much in thrall to the AIPAC and Israeli influences that it cannot think or express itself freely at all.
Obama is going to have to offer them more and a bigger political carrot than AIPAC if he is going to get them to follow.
I do not know whether he can ask for the VP's resignation, but he can sure strip him of any voice or authority he may have. He might find it necessary to do this at some point.

*************************Mr. President,
Greetings and best wishes. The world is waiting with bated breath for your Mideast Peace Plan to be revealed. You are wise not to disclose the details of your plan at this time. Media pundits would chew your plan to pieces, and you would be targeted by The Swarm.
I quote Jeffrey Blankfort who wrote: "Until and unless the American people wake up ... nothing will change. There or here. Except to get worse." Jeff is right, Mr. President. The American people must "wake up" and see the stranglehold Israel's lobby has on our Congress. The American people alsoneed to wake up to the realities on the ground in the Holy Land. I honestly do not believe that the American public is apathetic (uncaring). I see the problem as everyday ignorance (simply not knowing). Americans are not stupid. Folks just need a little help learning about the facts of the matter.
You're aware that every sentence you utter in public is parsed for meaning and analyzed for implications. My suggestion is that you find an occasion to "mention" that Christians who live in the Holy Land are Palestinians.
It's astonishing to notice how many Americans are unaware of that fact. You may wish to add a mention that Christians and Muslims suffer together under Israel's occupation. Anotherpossibility would be for you to ask The Elders to make those points for us when they travel to the region at the end of August. Whichever way you decide to inform the American public, Sir, please know that the International Community stands in solidarity with you and the Elders as you coordinate your efforts to make the Peace of Jerusalem a fact on the ground.
Peace,

The ADL’s Hate Crimes Legislation
The specter of divine reprimand detailed in the Torah for failure to keep the laws of their God, perhaps the weight of Yin balancing the forces of Yang as reward for the failure to harmonize their deeds with eternal truth or maybe the karma brush strokes inspired by the totality of a nation’s actions in any one of the successive states of that state’s existence.
Silencing the voice of a single citizenry will not serve to hide the bloody hands from which this legislation is born and propagated. The hate crimes against Palestine cannot be hidden from the global stage nor deter reprimands spawned by truth of cosmic balance.
Hiding behind the illusion of Maya and national peace of mind, all the while being unable to fortify them selves from the quaking and gripping fear, ever tightening upon the reality of their collective mind; all of America is not deceived and the politicians supporting this madness are merely rented.
It is a tactical error for the supporters of Zionism and international war crimes to attack the liberties of the nation of peoples to whom they owe their own existence.

“Global Elders? Counsel of Elders? “Where They Are?”"
Where are the "Elders?"
They are there.... they may be hidden in the clouds or buried in the depths, or obscured by the lies and deceptions which pass today for history and "News" created ad lib by and for Special Interests on demand.
But Truth is durable and it will survive. The elders will prevail for they are the purveyors of Truth.
In my lifetime I have been, among other things, a submariner and an aviator. I’ve learned a few fundamentals about operating both vehicles. Not wisdom, just plain facts, obvious and ignored at your peril.
Fundamental:
1. Every submarine which dives, must surface. If it doesn’t, you are dead.
2. An airplane, which goes up in one piece, must come down in pretty much the same way. If it doesn’t, you are at serious risk.
Both of these vehicles can be hidden, disguised, and tactically deployed in ways which tend to obscure and con-ceal their presence, objectives and power.
They are not unlike Truth in those respects.
Similarly, Truth is much like both the submarine and the airplane in many ways.
Once submerged, it is a matter of time until it surfaces. Unlike a number of submarines, it has rarely failed to do so.
It may have gathered marine growth, barnacles, weed, etc., and its paint may have faded and ablated from im-mersion but, clean it up, scrape off the surface and the truth will be revealed.
Launch a Truth, and fly as far and high as you may, safely back on the ground, you will find the same Truth that was launched.
Inevitably, Truth will return to the land or the surface. What goes up... must come down! Be patient.
Modern truth, like modern submarines and airplanes, has remarkable endurance and may remain gone for so long, dive so deep and fly so far and high that we may begin to think it has been lost.
But, Truth, unlike submarines and airplanes, cannot be depthcharged, torpedoed or shot out of the skies. It is made of much sterner stuff.
Inevitably, it will return, and again become apparent in all its shining reality.
Stick with the truth and you will survive the passage, the flight, and the battle.
Abandon Truth, or give up the wait, and it’s sink, swim, or pray the parachute works.
Lies and bullshit do not make good parachutes, lifejackets or rafts.
Hang around. Be patent. The truth is out there, and it will surface or land in its own good time.
Mr. Bush, or his navigator Mr. Cheney, may or may not be in command when it returns. Stranger things have happened at sea and in the sky...but, I assure you, Truth is on its way home and will arrive...in its own good time.
Whether we celebrate a homecoming or a wake is yet to be seen. But, we shall see, shan’t we?
but the ?Elders there will always be the Elders, and they will always bear the Truth!
Earlaiman

There are small glimmers of hope when one surveys the global media’s terrain and reads France suspending the licenses of Israel acquisitions of weapons that were used in the Gaza Holocaust or Saudi Arabia decrying the Israeli abandon of meaningful strides towards peace in the Middle East or the Brazilian government’s reprimand of Israeli officials as they embarked upon a South American public relations charade; while yet abandoning all semblance of human decency at home in their Palestinian affairs.
The quiet voice of sanity uttered by the global elders is not altogether falling on deaf or unlearned hearing. What is missing is passion and vision for leadership by the Arab Americans in championing their own cause, when they are abandoned by a largely self-serving United States populace and an immoral government; no longer for the people nor by the people when considering the immeasurable gulf between the will of the people and the failure to have healthcare reform legislation before the American congress went home on their August vacations.
Their must be a marshalling of forces and ideas from a motivated Arabic grassroots constituency as the US military now quietly reviews use of social networks as we voice the sound of our discontent.

Breaking News: Israeli Tanks, Bulldozers Roll into Gaza
It’s good to see so many people from USA recognising the problems of the Palestinians and the unreasonable support of the USA for the state of Israel. My own country, UK, is almost as guilty in that we were complicit in ceding Palestine to the new state of Israel and thus starting the whole sorry mess.

Rabbi Ovadia Describes U.S. President as “a Slave” Ruling the World”
Given the billions Israel harvests from the US each year gratis, it behooves their more prominent citizens to act a little more humbly than to call Obama a slave, even if most US politicians have behaved like abject slaves kneeling at the feet of the Israel lobby. This situation just might not last forever, and I keep hearing how many Israelis are waking up to this.
Last week in the letters section of the American Free Press, was this:
Former Under Secretary Paul Craig Roberts speaks for many Americans. He speaks for me and I feel outraged because the U.S. is the puppet state of Israel. If you think only in terms of money, consider this: California, which has become a failed state, has been denied bailout money from Washington. Israel, whach has been a failed state for 60 years, can, unlike the American state of California, always count on Washington to deliver the money and the weapons. The same week that "our" gov't in Washington told the governor of California "not one red cent," President Barack Obama handed over $2.775 billion to Israel.

Facts vs Beliefs
It is in these times of extreme scarcity of honorable journalism, investigative journalists such as Jeff Gates, John Pilger, Robert Fisk, Charlie Glass, Seymour Hirsh, John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt are blessed signposts on the tortuous road to America’s lost identity.
They speak beyond the Spin of US Corporate owned MSM, and are nearly always derided by Conservatives as left-wing propagandists. I hope this dying breed of journalistic successors are on the rise, because we now need independent reporters more than we ever did.
John Pilger asserts: “We are not at war. Instead, American and British troops are fighting insurrections in countries where our invasions have caused mayhem and grief...but you wouldn’t know it. Where are the pictures of these atrocities ?”
Robert Fisk, expressed outrage at the semantics of language used within much of the MSM in its reporting on the Middle East. “In the American Press, the occupied Palestinian territories become disputed territories; A colony becomes a settlement or an outpost. We are constantly degrading the reasons for Palestinian anger. The purpose of this kind of journalism is to diminish the real reasons behind the Middle East conflict,” Fisk said.
Charlie Glass joked: “When I began journalism, I approached it in a way a lot of young naive people do, in that it was a vocation, a higher calling to tell the truth. I tried very hard to do that throughout my career, but I worked for an American Corporate network. It’s not easy.” Glass said: “I’ve lost my vocation, I actually don’t really like this profession anymore.”
Seymour Hersh considered the damning words of his colleagues. “Yes, it’s important to beat up on us. As usual, we deserve it. As usual, We failed you totally” Hersh remarked.

***************We are caught in a strange predicament in the USA regarding Israel.
Perhaps we have created an enfant terrible that is on the verge of expanding territory, taking chunks of Iraq (via resettlement of Jewish Kurds) as well as other neighboring nations. Sending Israeli military or mercenaries (as is documented they did in Guatelama in the 1980s) into Iran as "peace keepers" would expand territory and give access to gigantic oil reserves.
The strange predicament mentioned above is that our sources of information are not free to question publicly Israel's motivation or, in fact, to publish facts reflecting Israel's obvious planned expansionism.
How greatly the US has changed: ordinary citizens are disregarded when they pressure for Iran to be allowed to simply get on with its own business nor are common citizens here effective in asking for press or government neutrality with regard to either country.
We enjoy keeping abreast with happenings in the Arab world and the INTIFADA is a great help to accessing a broad range of topics and reliable information.

Kudos to Ms. Baker. This man Moskowitz's mindset and disregard for truth, justice, and the legitimate rights of others nauseate me.

He'd also be prosecuted and vilified for flouting international law, under which every Zionist settlement/colony on Palestinian land is ILLEGAL.
Why should Moskowitz be allowed to export American dollars to Zionist Israel to fund ILLEGALITY -- EVEN AS WE ARE (FISCALLY AND MORALLY) BANKRUPT? THIS IS NOT RIGHT! MOSKOWITZ SHOULD SPEND HIS MONEY IN AMERICA IN SUPPORT OF OUR ECONOMY!

When Will Americans Come to the Aid of Palestine?
With the Zionist surrounding Obama, I find it difficult to believe that the American Government will at last do the right thing for the Palestinians, freedom, justice, or peace.

Palestine will never be free of Israeli oppression, aggression, and the threat of extinction by genocide until the US Congress, and the American political system, including the Office of the Presidency, free themselves of Israeli domination through unregistered foreign agencies such as AIPAC and the ADL.
This will take the kind of guts seldom if ever found in politicians, and never displayed in the Houses of the US Congress.
For eight years the Office Of the President of the United States was filled by a "Decider" who decided nothing, but merely did as he was told.

***************It looks to me as if the showdown has arrived. Nutznyahoo has called Obama's hand, and Obama is either going to have to show him a Royal Flush, raise the bid or fold.
If he raises the bid, or shows the Flush, he will immediately exercise Executive Authority and stop all Military Aid to Israel. He, as Commander in Chief, has the authority. He can also refuse to execute, as Chief Executive, any other aid or assistance programs passed and budgeted by Congress, simply by not ordering it.
If he does neither, and allows the “construction of settlements” to continue, with nothing more than a whimper and a protest or condemnation, he has whimped out and is no longer Mr. President.
Obama knows this, and it is simply a matter of intent and will, or chutzpah and guts.
We shall soon see what kind of guts has Obama. Either by inference from his actions or inactions, or spread out on a political autopsy table under the knife of an Israeli coroner!
I think Obama went into this, following his tete a tete with Netanyahu last month, knowing it would come to this, and I hope he is prepared to follow through on it. Otherwise he is what we have feared just another good talker.
To really push the ball even further, he does have Executive Authority to prohibit the transfer of private funds to Israel, any bank in Israel, or to any Israeli citizen. The US has invoked this Presidential Authority at various times to stop the transfer of funds to various Communist organizations and States in the past.
Whatever he does, he had better do it fast before the sun sets. Tomorrow morning will be too late and the place will smell of high heaven.
When a single cylinder engine stalls or stops on "Top Dead Center" it cannot be restarted again until someone or something moves the cylinder off of TDC.
This seems to be where Obama is and, unless he, someone or something close to him moves him off TDC someone will build a fire under him and like a do stubborn mule he will have to move. He has yet to face his greatest challenge, a disappointed and disillusioned American Public who will turn on him if he does not soon start to produce something other than talk.
He cannot sit the fence on the Israeli issue too much longer. He is going to have to make a choice and go public sooner or later, and better do sooner for, later, he will lose it all, and the Zionists will run over him like a Panzer Battalion.

***************Every human on this planet earth has the right to its resources. Every soul is born at a place where it has the right to call that place its abode. Palestinians are born in the land called Palestine they have a greater right to the land of their birth than those who are being planted on it. Might may be with Jews for this decade or the coming decades, but the right of the people of Palestine will never sever.
Gandhi's major statement on the Palestine and the Jewish question came forth in his widely circulated editorial in the Harijan of 11 November 1938. His views came in the context of severe pressure on him, especially from the Zionist quarters, to issue a statement on the problem.
"But", Gandhi asserted, "My sympathy does not blind me to the requirements of justice. The cry for the national home for the Jews does not make much appeal to me. The sanction for it is sought in the Bible and in the tenacity with which the Jews have hankered after their return to Palestine."
Gandhi rejected the idea of a Jewish State in the Promised Land by pointing out that the "Palestine of the Biblical conception is not a geographical tract."
A few months before his assassination, Gandhi answered the question "What is the solution to the Palestine problem?" raised by Doon Campbell of Reuters:
"It has become a problem which seems almost insoluble. If I were a Jew, I would tell them: 'Do not be so silly as to resort to terrorism...' The Jews should meet the Arabs, make friends with them and not depend on British aid or American aid, save what descends from Jehovah.

***************I joined the Viva-Palestina-USA Convoy to Gaza. The Egyptian Authority permitted us only 24 hours visit to Gaza. It was a Sad and Happy 24-hours.
.Sad to see the destruction and devastation, of the infrastructure, schools, mosques, churches, hospitals, even the sewage system collapsed, shortage of food, water, and such basic amenities that come into Gaza through the tunnels and the wounded.
Happy to see the Gazans despite all the hardships they endure, “alive” and dignified, hospitable and smiling people.
You DO NOT see Beggars on the street of Gaza, like we saw in Cairo. The policemen are disciplined, polite and helpful, unlike what we experienced in Cairo. There is no bribery like in Cairo.
The owner of a Felafel Restaurant, refused to accept payment for felafel sandwhiches, from members of the Convoy, even though we insisted on paying for it.
Our 24-Hour stay in Gaza was much richer experience than our 11 days wait in Cairo for permit to enter Gaza. The food and water tasted better in Gaza than Cairo, the Gazans were dignified and full of spirit. I admire their courage and resilience.
Lastly, I have come away feeling so sorry that American foreign policy has been so misguided resulting in decades of suffering of Palestinian children generation after generation.
How long will the children of Palestine have to endure such suffering for simply being Palestinians, before the world and the so-called international community wake-up to their suffering ?

People who value human rights must demand that their government, state or federal, not have contracts/dialogues with Israeli companies. We must insist that it be difficult for Israeli’s to receive permission to travel to our country.
There has been enough undermining of our government policies and interference in our election candidates who recognize the harm of Israel.
“We the people” take back our government and change the focus to human rights/environment.

Hamas’s Choice: Recognition or Resistance in the Age of Obama
I wonder why it is the Palestinians that must prove their right to exist, their right of return, their right to be free? Obama displays a bias when he dwells on the past Nazi Holocaust of the Jews while ignoring the present Israeli Zionist ethical cleansing and seizure of Palestine by the same Nazi model!
A knowledgable world is weary of this excuse on the part of Israel and the US for human rights abuse. Israel must release Marwan Barghouti and the at least 11,000 Palestinians being held in their prisons.

“How the Israel Lobby Took Control of U.S. Foreign Policy”
***************Mr. Gates' article is soooo right on. We have been taken over by the very and "passionate attachment to a foreign nation" and "entangling alliance" which Washington and Jefferson feared and counseled against.
It gets worse: I'm just completing "Guilt by Association," and in it Mr. Gates tracks, with amazing precision and with voluminous end notes, a web of international financial thievery and corporatocratic machinations of evil that boggle the sane mind.
We must -- must -- retrieve our supposed representative democracy from these miscreants. It may already be too late, their power and connections are so vast and psychotically executed among themselves....

“Who Will Hold Us Accountable?”
I read this shocking account of perfidy last evening, and I was moved to copy-and-paste it into President Obama's "Contact us" site. I prefaced the paste with this preamble; my words are harsh but, I believe, warranted. We are being manipulated by -- AND WE ENABLE -- an enterprise of criminal psychosis. That is the only way that I can describe the unrelenting, myriad-faceted Zionist drive to expunge the Holy Land of all residents except "Jews" (many of them of questionable lineage, drafted by ZioIsrael for demographic dominance). It is inhuman, it is surely not a godly action of a "chosen people," and it is...yes, steeped in a dangerous psychosis. Here's my preamble to Ms. Abou Shakra's cri de coeur:
President Obama, if you can read this searing account by Lebanese lady Natalie Abou Shakra and not feel shame, disgust, and loathing, then you are not human. This is a context in which I fully agree with Reverend Jeremiah Wright: God Damn America! God Damn Zionist Israel! God Damn Egypt! The Christians and Muslims of Palestine cry out for truth, justice, freedom, and peace. The goddamned U.S., Zionist Israeli and Egyptian governments are hellbent on not permitting any truth, justice, freedom and peace to be given to them. This day, and every day until the Palestinians are delivered from the criminal psychosis of Zionist Israel, I hate my country for its complicity in this savage, slow genocide being perpetrated before our eyes. ...

Damnation: only 24 hours to commune with the people in Gaza...anger doesn't do justice to my emotions when I read of this grossly strangulating restriction (confirmation of something I read last night; part of Eqypt's cowardly genuflection/obeisance to Zionism and Israeli-occupied America).
The poor convoy members must be exhausted to begin with after all the jerking around to which they've been subjected just trying to gain entry to Gaza, and now this. And think of Cynthia -- kidnapped, jailed, largely ignored, jetting back and forth...; I can't imagine the stress on her mind and body....
Best regards, in solidarity,

Victory For The People of Gaza!
"This is a victory for the people of Gaza. We were determined not to be denied in bringing humanitarian aid to the children of Gaza. The silence of the world is deafening as the people of Gaza suffer, but the two hundred Americans and over one million dollars worth of aide that is going through confirms our commitment to a free Palestine. Long live the people of Palestine."

Cynthia McKinney: I Finally Made it to Gaza; No Wonder the Israelis Didn’t Want Photos Taken
***************The Viva Palestina convoy, led by George Galloway, is about to leave Gaza after having been permitted to enter for a period of 24 hours after waiting 11 days in Cairo for permission to enter Gaza. That in and of itself is a major story when expanded to include the inability of Gazans to exit The Strip--even if only to enter another part of their country, the West Bank or to move about freely in the fictional "Palestinian State."
I say fictional because it continues to dwindle even while peace talks are underway. Fictional, because Palestinian elections deemed by international observers to be free and fair, don't count if the US- and Israel-approved party loses, and the winners get to sit for years in an Israeli jail. Fictional, because they use Israel's currency here, the shekel, and the international roaming on our US cell phones indicates calls are from Israel.
Gaza is beautiful. Gaza is full of life, despite Israel's Operation Cast Lead. And now, I have seen, Gaza has been bombed to smithereens. I think I've mastered my video camera enough to share some images with you. I'll post them on the sites below when I return.
In the meantime, my fellow Americans and citizens of the world, we have a lot to do to put right all the wrong things done in our name. Much love to all of you who helped me, guided me, prayed for me, to make this successful entry into Gaza happen. Viva Palestina!!Free Gaza!!--
Everyone said it couldn't be done, that we were insane, that we would never get into Gaza. But we did, and we got in four more times before Israel began to stop us. But we will go again and again. Never underestimate the power of determined people, especially those people working for justice for the Palestinians.

Palestine, My Bride (Poem by Shakeel Syed)
Dreams … Aspirations,
Love … Laughter,
Tears … Sorrow,
All in you, yet unrealized,
O Palestine, My Bride …
Your Silwan … screams,
Your Gaza … gagged,
Your Hebron … horrified,
Your Ramallah … wrenching,
All in you, yet in tears,
O Palestine, My Bride …
Your green gardens … brown,
Your flowing rivers … dried,
Your mighty mountains … humbled,
Your dreamy deserts … ruined,
All in you, yet you smile,
O Palestine, My Bride …
O Palestine, My Bride …
You measure yourself not in miles … but in
Checkpoints and Roadblocks,
You name your cities & towns - not by name …
but by Walls, Fences & Barriers,
You visit your Villages and Hamlets … but through
Trenches and over Boulders,
All in you – keep smiling and
All of me - keep dreaming
for your Love & Laughter,
for my Tears & Sorrow,
One Day – O Palestine
You Will Be My Bride

The Spirit of Humanity: Poem from Prison by Mairead Maguire
***************For Gaza and the Palestinian People
‘Spirit of humanity'
As long as
The people of Palestine
Have no liberty, no freedom
Those of us with a voice to speak
Must speak
As long as
The children of Gaza
Live in fear of Israeli
Bombs and occupation
Those of us with a voice to speak
Must speak
As long as
Six million Palestinian refugees
Are deportees around the world
Those of us with a voice to speak
Must speak
As long as
Millions of god's children
Are hungry, imprisoned, and without hope
Those of us with a voice to speak
Must speak
Because it is in speaking
We find our liberty, our freedom
And no prison bars can take away
Our peace, our love
Which is the true spirit of humanity

Bravo! George, Cynthia, Mairead, Greta, Michael Prysner, Michael Heart, and the rest of you, for your determination and persistence. You are true democrats and humanists.
Thanks Elias Farhud of INTIFADA, for your tireless efforts to bring us regular up-dates on the developements as they took place in Egypt and Gaza.
The MSM (MainStream Media) Editors and Producers don’t see the truth for what it is or knowing it all along, cannot find the spine, or the profitability to change their stance and start writing true stories like this, for a great many reasons, keeping jobs being just one of the obvious ones.
Most mainstream journalists have always been fence straddlers, go along-get along types, and has, and have simply failed to come to grips with the bottom line in this Neo-Zio-Israeli-American panzer plot either because they are too ignorant, too timid, or like their jobs too much.
American readership has for long believed everything they read in MSM, which is their primary source of opinion and knowledge.
You cannot change what the Neo-Zio of MSM publish, or what music the Bandmasters play at this dance, unless you can buy them out.
“An editor here, or a violinist there, may write the Truth, or play to the true score, but one will not change the Headlines, and the other will not be heard by the audience over all the other instruments playing to the directors beat.” They have been at it for 50 years.
Which is why, we must encourage and develope more “alternative” music groups like INTIFADA!

Books to Read
If your knowledge about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is fed primarily from the mainstream media from your local newspaper, the Associated Press wire, or maybe the New York Times or the Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, or FoxNews - chances are that you are sadly mislead and gravely misinformed about the Middle East crisis.
The short essays in this book will open your eyes to some basic realities that have been safely kept away from you by a timid media unwilling to show you the harsh realities daily suffered by the Palestinian people and will illustrate through some startling examples how the media has repeatedly and systematically downplayed Palestinian suffering. The book will help you gain a better understanding of the subtle ways your opinions, feelings, and perceptions of the conflict are manipulated, and hopefully put you on guard next time you open your newspaper or turn on your radio or television.

******************************************As a USS Liberty survivor, I have asked myself time and time again, "Where did we make the turn?" Where did we Change from honoring our veterans and patriots who have served this great nation and gave all they had to give, a lifetimes sacrifice, to letting them be treated like a throw away item that can be renewed without end. That is how I feel, humiliated by my own government. And, I thought this about one of the finest men who served this country: Admiral Thomas Moorer, who stuck by the Liberty survivors like glue. A man who served this country in the finest traditions and was brow beaten because he stood like a rock behind what was left of a crew that loved this nation more than their own lives, in some cases families.
How can those in positions of power and responsiblity, turn their backs on us, sleep at night knowing the truth about what actually happened to the Liberty crew? These are questions, that cry for answers. Would I run for office now, knowing what I know about my government and who runs it? Would I run for office in such a situation ? Not if I have to submit myself to such methods of humiliation as we see our politicians having to genuflect before a powerful ally, that is destroying us as a nation. Never in a million years. Crossing this line by those who should know better can have nothing but disastrous results. There are no words to describe my anger and despair. Alan Sabrosky is a true patriot.
If I wear the badge of new anti-semitism as Alan describes it, I wear it with honor as a red blooded American and that I will always be.
What about you ?

Add my name to those who stand in support of McKinney and the Free Gaza boat, condemn the actions of Israel and it's client state, the United States.
Thank you for the article going around the Internet. Whole hearted agreement.
I continue to be awakened to Zionism. Long ago, agreed with friends, Jewish and otherwise, that Israel was a noble concept. Little else was available.
That has changed absolutely for me, and what you and others write will help expose the crimes of Israel, and I now see, the international propaganda of Zionism and worst, its relentless efforts to war, to war the United States as its proxy, the vilification of Islam and its maneuvering the west against the east.
I've read the articles, I've read the books, I've read the history.
For whatever it's worth, I am not of any religion or political party: it's the evidence that continues to show itself to anyone who can crawl through the sea of lies, propaganda, misinformation, and the difficulty of reading 'the other side' since what I read is so awful, and most of all, judge by impartial standards--and I'm almost at a loss as to defining that last reason.
Regards,
Mike Severson
